The D-coded SACC connector is the workhorse of PROFINET wiring, so that’s the one we keep deepest stock on. Shielded and unshielded versions are both available; shielded is the default if you have EMC concerns near drives or inverters.

Details that matter in Ethernet connectors

For D-coded and X-coded parts, the contact geometry and shielding determine whether your link hits 100 Mbps or 10 Gbps reliably. We test every Ethernet connector for continuity and shield integrity before it leaves the factory, and we publish the Cat rating (5e for D-coded, 6A for X-coded) on the datasheet.

Can your D-coded M12 replace a Phoenix SACC in a PROFINET network?

Yes. The pinout follows the PROFINET standard and mates with original SACC connectors. We suggest one sample for field verification.

Shielded or unshielded – which do I need?

Shielded if the cable run passes near drives, motors or inverters. Unshielded is fine for short, quiet runs and costs less.

Do you supply overmoulded or field-wireable?

Both. Field-wireable for panel builds, overmoulded for repeatable production.
